1st Annual Carbondale MCMA Expo Recruitment Event on November 10th

On Tuesday, November 10 the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts is hosting its first annual Carbondale Expo recruitment event on the Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus.

The event will take place in the Communications Building (Address: 1100 Lincoln Drive; Carbondale, IL 62901) from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.mClick Here to get Directions.

Prospective students and their families, as well as interested teachers and guidance counselors, will have the opportunity to interact with faculty, staff, students and alumni. Demonstrations and short presentations will take place throughout the evening. Student groups and organizations will be represented and information will be available about the College's majors and curricula.

An SIUC Admissions representative will also be on hand, as will student Ambassadors who will be giving tours of the building.

Free refreshments will be provided also.

Those wishing to watch the live broadcast of the 5 p.m. River Region Evening Edition newscast should arrive at 4:30.

SIUC College of Mass Communication and Media Arts Announces Discovery Expo

CARBONDALE, Illinois (October 29, 2009) – The College of Mass Communication and Media Arts (MCMA) at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) announces a unique recruiting event, possibly the first of its kind. Alumni, students, faculty and staff will gather in the Communications Building at the SIUC campus from 4:30-8:00pm on Tuesday, November 10, for a college recruiting event designed for prospective students and their families, as well as interested teachers and guidance counselors.

Participants will discover the possibilities and accomplishments of the college. At the expo there will be demonstrations on state-of-the-art equipment, presentations on how to succeed in the real world, and opportunities to discuss your future with college advisers and students. Student ambassadors will give tours of the facilities and refreshments will be provided.
