The College of Mass Communication and Media Arts has several ways for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to connect with us.

Social Networks

  • SIUC MCMA facebook account - We posts links to SIUC and MCMA news, post comments, upload photos and videos and feature work.
  • MCMA facebook group - We post MCMA events and it is an open group to join.
  • Linked In MCMA Group - Connect with other MCMA faculty/staff, students and alumni in this professional network.
  • Flickr Photostream - Curious what students are up to? As we collect photos of students and faculty at work we are organizing them online using a Flickr photostream. These photos are meant to show some of our many hands-on opportunities.
  • Twitter - Curious what events and news that the MCMA has going on? Twitter is a service that allows us to enter in a short 140 character update. If you register with Twitter you can than follow us and even set your phone to get txt message updates.
  • Youtube - Our youtube channel has videos created by students. The videos are limited to a 10 minutes in length.
  • SIUC on iTunes U - The University is using iTunes U to distribute audio and video focusing on teaching and learning. Our longer videos are featured here and because MCMA has had a large involvement in iTunes U you can find plenty of videos produced by MCMA faculty and students.

Alumni Events

Alumni events are scheduled at different times of the year and in different locations. We are currently using the MCMA facebook group to keep these events up to date. You can always contact Ron Graves at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Phone: 618/453-4748.
